I am a queer, trans, first-generation Ethiopian artist and care worker residing on Duwamish land. I received my MA in Clinical Social Work from the University of Washington, and currently work as a licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical (SWIA.SC.61662682) under the supervision of Diana Mena, LICSW (LW60661913).

Over the past 6+ years I have worked in a vast array of settings in the non-profit sector including domestic violence prevention, LGBTQ+ health and wellness, and environmental justice. Through this work I have learned so much from my own communities and the communities I have the honor of witnessing that have directly impacted my therapeutic approach, which includes not adhering to a one size fits all model. Your entire context will be taken into consideration, I pull from multiple modalities and ideologies to help co-create a space that is unique to you and your desires during our time together.

Some non-clinical things about me!

  • I’m a multidisciplinary artist (neurodivergent so I’m often bopping around between whatever mediums I find most compelling at the moment).

  • I have two small dogs with very big attitudes.

  • I love playing video games and watching movies (+1 if they’re horror) and am an avid collector of VHS’s and any video games old enough to come with an insert manual.
